Ultimate Life Stewardship
The theme of Lent 2026 was ULTIMATE LIFE STEWARDSHIP…
Honoring this life in every way, to operate at optimal capacity, thru spirit / body / soul alignment. I know there’s always MORE available, & I love leaning into fasting seasons to go after greater wholeness & fullness.
But what I quickly realize is that it’s not up to me to bring forth my own transformation. It must be orchestrated by the Lord. Initiated & promoted by Him. And me responding in partnership, as He takes the lead. Fasting is a furnace. It’s rarely easy; it’s actually not supposed to be. Yet sometimes on these “long-haul” fasts, I grow complacent. I forget. I lose sight. Become lazy. And then start operating in my own strength to regain grounding.
“My sheep hear My voice”
What do you need to come out of agreement with?
So that you can stand in truth. Partner with possibility. Full of hope, expectation, & anticipation.
What we believe will either hold us back or propel us forward. The times in life when I’ve felt the most stuck are typically due to false beliefs around God & myself. When I’m looking thru a lens of scarcity versus abundance. Operating as an orphan versus an adopted one.
2025 to 2026 Crossover
Exiting 2025 & entering 2026 has come with a lot of feelings. As I surveyed the seasons from this past year, I saw pain, I saw loss, I saw unfulfilled dreams & unfinished projects. Hope deferred, again & again. Frustration with God & uncertainty on how to proceed. A rollercoaster ride that wore me out. One attack after another: first, on my joy; then, on my rest; next, on my call; and finally, on my identity, overall. Phew!
Yet there has been so much beauty along the way, which cannot be denied or discounted. Many a mountaintop, actually. A reason to celebrate! Joy like never before. Wild faith. Radical trust. Rich relationships. Invigorating experiences. Divine connections. Fresh vision.
“Go Run”
It’s story time. And it starts with a road sign. A street sign, to be exact.
Recently, a friend commented on my street name, “Go Run,” and its prophetic implications. I’ve been pondering this ever since. Interestingly enough, it took over 4 years for our neighborhood to actually get the “Go Run” sign – and I saw it for the first time last week, when I went to check my mail.
Shortly after that, I asked the Lord, “What do you want me to know about ‘Go Run?’” Within a few minutes, He brought revelation…
100x Crop Requires Rest
“Running my race with mighty momentum from radical rest.” That’s the motto for 2025. Have I been doing it perfectly? Absolutely not. But the call to REST is becoming greater day by day; the necessity of rest, no longer a negotiable.
Rest isn’t just about recovery. Or sleeping. Or slowing life down. It’s about a heart posture. And that matters because our heart is the birthplace, the home, the wineskin of JOY. So let’s do a deep dive into REST / the HEART / & JOY.
