“My sheep hear My voice”
What do you need to come out of agreement with?
So that you can stand in truth. Partner with possibility. Full of hope, expectation, & anticipation.
What we believe will either hold us back or propel us forward. The times in life when I’ve felt the most stuck are typically due to false beliefs around God & myself. When I’m looking thru a lens of scarcity versus abundance. Operating as an orphan versus an adopted one.
Wanna know what’s brought about some of the biggest shifts & breakthroughs in my life? The belief that God loves me, delights in me, wants to spend time with me, & speaks to me. It creates an open heart & a willing spirit, a readied mind & softened soul. I’m able to enter time with Him as a child & sheep—knowing He’s a Father who gives good gifts & a Shepherd who still speaks. I in Him & Him in me. His Spirit indwelling; no separation.
So I will agree, & I invite you to join me in this belief: that “My sheep hear My voice,” according to John 10:27. Even if you’ve never heard Him speak, keep committing to listening, from a place of belief.
Learning to hear His still small voice has become a recent muscle built. In addition to the written Word, His “rhema” spoken Word is what has brought tremendous transformation in my life. And it all started with tiniest seed this time 6 years ago—from a place of desperation & yet a relentlessness in inquiring & waiting, no matter how long it would take. Sunrise beach walks. Sitting in the same spot. Unwilling to move until I heard a whisper of Truth.
If you’re struggling to hear, do not fear. Come into agreement that He has opened your ears. Press in. Practice. Keep drawing near.
